Hello fellow cat people, how is everyone doing? We hope you're having an amazing Sunday. We've recently been thinking about the joys of being a cat parent. Actually, we're kidding, we think about that all the time.

But anyway… there's nothing better than forming a special bond with a fluffy feline that's full of love, light, and excitement. But it's also the little quirky things they do that just make sense. We're sure you guys know what we're talking about, we're betting a million things came to your mind. Our personal favorites are little blepies and when they fall asleep on us. That's when our hearts melt completely and we swear our allegiance to them for eternity. If you've ever had a cat sleep on you, you know that requires trust and understanding. It's always rewarding when they finally take a nappie on us, despite the fact that we can't move until they wake up. We regret nothing.

Is this not the funniest thing ever? We think it's adorable. As you'll see in the comments below, there's a name for all the drama: flehmen response. The Flehmen response is basically animals' way of investigating a smell by curling up their lips and inhaling through the mouth. They also make a funny face so that's a bonus.

That's what we want to know too! We understand the flehmen response caused the eyes and the mouth but the head tilt? That's all cat. Perhaps he knew he was being recorded and added some spice so his hooman can get more likes on TikTok. Listen, TikTok cats are a whole other breed of cats.
